Skin care trends, there’s a new must do every single week it feels like! And slugging seems to be the latest trend.
But its actually unfair to call this a trend because this skin healing and protecting technique has been done for years and people are just starting to share it.

I actually heard the name of this technique first from Charlotte Palermino.

But little did I Know, I’ve been slugging for yearssssssss!

So what is slugging?

Slugging is the nick name given to the technique of applying Vaseline or a petroleum jelly type product all over your face as a final step in your evening skincare routine.

You finish looking pretty shine yes though a slug has left its trail all over your face…get iiiitttttt.

And that’s as your final step, and not instead of an oil or moisturiser.

Today we discuss, why you should be slugging, who should and shouldn’t be slugging and if this is more than just a new skincare trend to add to your routine.
