OASIS SUN Sensitive Skin Family Sunscreen SPF30 –

This sunscreen is really good for sensitive skin and dries transparently, so also tan and deep skintone-friendly.

Today on Sherlock Your Skin (Eczema Skinvestigations), we are on Day 2: Environment! Today, we explore the different factors your current skin type and current location play in the role of how eczema shows up and can show out if you travel or move to another place–or maybe country?!

Right now, I’m in Auckland, New Zealand and let me tell you: the humid weather here is doing wonders for my skin! I used to think that growing up in the Bay Area of California that I “naturally” had “dry skin” and that I was doomed to a life of using heavy creams, lotions, and salves just to stay afloat and not feel dry and itchy. My, have the times have changed! Here, in New Zealand, I feel like I have very normal skin! At times, even oily skin! I’ve even had breakouts from all the sweating I’ve been doing down here, both because of the weather and doing more walking as I’ve avoided driving, favoring public transportation to get around. So, if you think that you are a certain skin type, it might be just because of where you’re located and not because you’re born with a “defect”, “sensitivity”, or “weakness.” It’s all relative. And it may depend on where you are in the world, literally.
